Artist Bio
Progressive music has a way of reaching into people’s souls, attractive, unpredictable and yet so intelligent, a paradox right?

Not for this band. Three guys from Sweden agreed that this is the only music they could create from the heart and call it their own creation. Having been session musicians for many years participating on loads of albums and projects they were all eager to finally express themselves in a way more dear to them – both through words and music. These guys are all pretty well known and needs no closer presentation; Göran Edman (vocals), Benny Jansson (guitar), Daniel Flores (drums), Matt Norberg (keyboards) and Mathias Garnås (bass).

Göran was a guest musician on Benny’s third solo album “Save the world” that together with Benny was co-produced by drummer Daniel Flores. Everything was recorded in Sheepvalley studios. The three of them took a long chat after Göran was finished with his parts and were surprised of how much they had in common musically. Suddenly the idea was cracked by Daniel: - “Since we have so much in common, why don’t we make this a band? I mean a real band? “ and so they joined forces. The aim was to create music they loved and just have a lot of fun while doing it. They were still some members missing, which they looked hard for. Matt Norberg, a session keyboard player and Daniel’s best friend since childhood, was simply a natural choice. Then after having a bass player that didn’t work out, Daniel called his old mate from Music School, Mathias Garnås that had proved himself being worthy on the “Save the world” album. Now they were a band.

Right away they entered the Studio and after having worked really hard for several months they came up with 13 full songs. Having recorded bass and drums in Sheepvalley studios, Keyboards in Empire Studios, Guitars in Zinken Studios and vocals in Edman Studios they finally were fully satisfied with what they came up with. After Daniel Flores and Xsavior had completed the mix in Sheepvally studios, demos were sent to a lot of companies from which they received great offers. Finally the band signed a deal with Swedish record company Atenzia (home of A.C.T, Glen Burtnik a.o.). The artwork is being done by Mathias Norén, so expect a full color high quality booklet.

Progressive music will never be the same again, at least not after hearing Xsavior. Welcome to the future.
