Info:
There are only few people in the music business who can look back on such an impressive professional career as TOMMY DENANDER. The artists Tommy played with reads like the WHO IS WHO of Rock.

At the age of five he started playing guitar as well as keyboard and has established himself in almost every style. At the age of twelve, he started playing on demos for friends. Two years later, he produced „Cut In Ice“, his first album, together with the Swedish Hard Rockers ATC. Journalists compared him to EDDIE VAN HALEN and ERIC CLAPTON. Since then, Tommy is considered one of the best session musicians in Sweden's top elite.

In 1987, he went to Los Angeles for three years to get more experience and to get in contact with others. The first musicians he met there were TOTO, who then played on a swedish festival in 1991. He asked the Porcaros to play in RADIOACTIVE on the album “Ceremoney Of Innocence” which was released in 2001. The album features numerous world famous musicians: Jeff Porcaro, Mike Porcaro, Steve Porcaro, David Paich, David Hungate, Bobby Kimball, Fergie Frederiksen, Joseph Williams, Fee Waybill, Greg Phillinganes, David Foster, Jason Scheff, Abe Laboriel, Neil Stubenhaus, Randy Goodrum, Bruce Gaitsch, Michael Thompson, Dean Parks, Vince Dicola, Geir Rönning & Jim Jidhed ... incredible line-up!

In 2005 and for the 3rd year in a row Tommy has placed a song in the Eurovision song contest, in 2003 he competed in Sweden, in 2004 in Finland and in 2005 it was time for Norway! Recently he has written the music theme to a big Swedish music TV program called "POP IN" that started in August for the biggest music show called "VOXPOP".

For the critical acclaimed album “Yeah” (2003 - see reviews below) he prefered to work with only a few musicians (Geir Ronning, Kimmo Blom / URBAN TALE, Fergie Frederiksen / ex-TOTO, Michael Erlandsson, Matti Alfonzetti, Pat Thern, Marcel Jacob / TALISMAN).

The 3rd release entitled “Taken” won't disappointed any fan of high quality melodic rock. As before it features some big name guests: Tommy Denander, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Porcaro, Bobby Kimball, Fergie Frederiksen, Steve Lukather, Neal Schon, Vinnie Colaiuta, John "jr" Robinson, Andreas Carlsson, Greg Phillinganes, Bruce Kulick, Yngwie J Malmsteen, Steve George, Gary Barden, Kelly Keagy, Jim Peterik, Philip Bardowell, Robin Beck, James Christian, Michael Landau, Dean Parks, Michael Thompson, Bruce Gaitsch, Abe Laboriel, Tom Keane, Tom Saviano, David Diggs, Vinny Heter, Hussain Jiffry, Michael Voss, Thomas Vikström, Johan Fahlberg, Mikael Erlandsson, Chris Catena, Peter Friestadt, Frederic Slama, and many more.

Tommy recently played guitar on Paul Stanley's and Westlife's album so Tommy reached the major league of music business! "Taken" is definitely for the major league and we all can expect an incomparable melodic rock masterpiece!

Beside the regular version, the album will be released in a stricktly limited edition featuring a 20-minutes bonus DVD with interviews and studio recordings plus cool private films with Jeff Porcaro, Mike Porcaro, Steve Porcaro, David Paich, Steve Lukather, Fee Waybill, Greg Phillinganes, Bobby Kimball, Fergie Frederiksen, Michael Thompson, Vince DiCola, Randy Goodrum, David Hungate, Bruce Gaitsch, Abe Laboriel, Neil Stubenhaus and Dave Boruff.
