The desire to entertain and dazzle their fans with the sounds of Rock. Darren Smith founded DARREN SMITH BAND (former drummer of HAREM SCAREM) on guitar and vocals and Mike Hall from KILLER DWARFS and HELIX on lead guitar.
Stan Miczek formerly of HONEYMOON SUITE and Sass Jordan on bass and Pat Carrano, an unseen gem up until this point and Darren's only choice as drummer pounding the tubs. Combined the band has over 80 years of experience playing everything from Rock 'n' Roll, Jazz, and blues.
Over the years each member has had the pleasure of playing together and so it seemed only fitting to get together and combine their talents of harmonizing, melodies, lyrics and grooves for their debut album.
DARREN SMITH BAND swings back to simpler times in Rock 'n' Roll and has stepped outside the trappings of politics and religion.
Life is about working hard and having fun and DARREN SMITH BAND has embodied these ideals and delivers, to those of us who still look to the easier points of life, a message that will help keep our heads in a world that seems to be crashing in all around us.
